In order to get the most out of the Introduction to Team Leading short course you should already have some experience of line management or leading a team and/or be able to relate to the team leader role within your own workplace. You will get the most out of the course if you are able to bring real world examples to the group discussions and case studies where your understanding of the role of the team leader will be greatly enhanced.

At the end of the day's training you will have a comprehensive understanding of the role of the team leader and the most effective techniques needed to lead a team. You will receive a certificate of completion from PSP and a course manual to solidify your learning.

During the training you will also set your own personal development plan with input from your course trainer.

  • Strategic Leadership: Performing comprehensive assessments of organisational practices and processes, driving the implementation of best practices within global teams to enhance efficiency
  • Corporate Management & Governance: Building and maintaining strong relationships and strategic partnerships to guide the successful delivery critical enhancements to client service, staff engagement, performance management and governance processes.

In 2017, Carole completed her Doctorate in Business Studies specialising in understanding how people make sense of work within complex environments.  She is using her expertise and knowledge to support organisations develop high performing and resilient teams and to lead complex transformation projects.

All of our face-to-face training courses take place at our learning centre in Spalding, Lincolnshire. The environment is extremely comfortable, studious and professional and course numbers for management courses are capped at only 12 candidates per course allowing candidates to benefit from a high level of personal coaching from your trainer.
